Spring Trends 2013

Personally I believe that stripes are not really flattering on women, but that it's just my opinion. Some ladies can really pull it off, so I applaud them. But others, oh my please steer clear away form the stripes. All the latest fashion magazines have been saying that stripes are in this spring, but I advise you not to wear them if you can't pull them off. I am not a big fan of bermuda shorts because usually they fall awkwardly on the knee, but if they are correctly tailored then they can be ultra-chick! I mean, like who doesn't want to look ultra-chick? On the runways this season, a lot of black and white have been showing up due to the fact that it is a year round color. The sun is finally starting to be less shy this year, meaning that shades have been coming back in style as doubling up for an accessory and a  practical item to your outfit! Rather than the pants suit this spring, designers are becoming a little more creative and turned it into a shorts suit! There truly versatile and really show off your legs by still being appropriate. Pastels are usually always known for being in spring trends but they were not really on the runway shows this season, of course there acceptable though! Its spring time ladies!

Fashion Defined

What does the word fashion mean to you? Comment below! My definition of the word fashion is a way to describe yourself. Something that doesn't need to be done and yet must need to be done. Fashion means everything and anything. Google says that fashion means;A popular trend, esp. in styles of dress, ornament, or behavior. Fashion necessarily doesn't mean that you have to be following a "trend" but it is defiantly a part of it. I believe fashion has a lot of meanings and no one really can clearly define it into what it really is. Some quotes above give a really good explanantion of different definitions for the word fashion.

The Pixie Pomp vs. The Pixie Cut

Miley Cyrus,Pixie Pomp

Anne Hathaway, Pixie Cut
Many people think that the pixie pomp and the pixie cut are the same thing but to a lot of people their completely different. The pixie pomp and the pixie cut are both becoming relatively common among the famous and the celebrities. Miley Cyrus, displaying her new pixie pomp at the MTV Music Video Awards, was one of the first among the elite crowd to be risky enough to try out the pixie pomp. To everyone's surprise, it actually worked out very well for her. Many celebrities want the new short hair trend but they don't want to be to risky because come on thats pretty dramatic. Critics have named that the pixie(modern version) is the number one top trending hairstyle for 2013 this year. Anne Hathaway debuted a rock'n roll pixie cut at this year's Golden Globes Awards. My opinion on Cyrus' and Hathaway's hair was that with both of their unique face shapes, both of the trends work on the individuals. I honestly could not say which one looks better but I do realize that both of them can definitely pull the different hairstyles off with flying colors.
